Educational Project
Uttara Ladies Club Free Primary School is a project for the under-privileged children of the neighborhood locality. This school is in existence since the establishment of the club, and run six classes starting from nursery to class V. The teaching is absolutely free. The students are provided with school dress, reading and writing materials, school bags & tiffin snacks.
Free Medical Clinic
For the students of Free Primary School, Uttara Ladies Club provide free medicine whenever they fall sick. One of member, who is professionally a medical practitioner, looks after the health and hygiene of the students. This project also arranges free inoculation, vaccination and vitamin A capsule.
Legal Support Center
Uttara Ladies Club runs a legal advisory service set up, bearing in mind about the social responsibilities. Discrimination and violence are affecting the lives of many women and children in all socio-economic classes. Women are continued to be the subject of violence like physical abuse, dowry-related matters and sexual harassment.
